See the 📅 icon next to a bill? Tap it to add a reminder straight to your calendar. You don't need to do this for every bill — it's most useful for annual ones (easy to forget) and anything you have to pay yourself each month rather than it coming out automatically.

The everyday things you spend on most weeks. Tap any that apply and pop in a rough weekly amount — a guess is fine, you can change it any time. These get added like weekly bills, so they're part of your real picture.
Split what you're paid across two accounts each payday, so bills and savings are already sorted before you spend a cent.
First things first: set up a separate bills account 🏦
This works best if your bills money physically lives somewhere you won't spend it. If you can, open a second everyday account with your bank (most let you do this free, in a few taps in their app) and call it something like "Bills". Each payday, move your bills amount into it — then whatever's left in your main account really is yours to spend. How does this help?
Your full payday picture — money in, regular bills and set-asides, anything coming up, this week’s spending, and what is genuinely safe to spend until payday.
Boost is being built now — tools to help you spend less, prepare for what is coming and find ways to get ahead.

Would this have helped me when I was sitting at my kitchen table?
In 2008 I was married with three kids, living on the water, and life was good. Then the GFC hit, and we pretty much lost the lot. We went from week to week just getting by, and the marriage ended in 2014. I found myself without a home and without a way to make money.
I'd always done the books for our business, and I'd worked with figures since leaving school in 1987 and falling into a job at a local Chartered Accountants. But none of that changed the reality of being 42, with no job, no money, and pretty much homeless with three kids. I had to learn, grind, and figure it out — working multiple jobs at once just to get a roof back over our heads. Then came a long stretch of making it week to week.
Through all of it, I held onto a vision: a business that wasn't just me trading hours for someone else's hourly rate. Then I met Jade, and together we started JMR Promo — uniforms, signage, flags and banners for local businesses. We don't buy stock until it's sold, and we give small businesses the same service and pricing the big companies get. Helping someone look professional so their business can grow — and ours grows with it. Along the way, I completed my bookkeeping qualifications and became a registered BAS Agent.
Through the women's support groups I'm part of, I see the same moment over and over — a marriage ends, and someone is suddenly overwhelmed, with no idea how to put one foot in front of the other. That's exactly where I was. If I can use what I know to ease that financial crush, even a little, that's why this app exists: to show you your numbers, what you need to cover the bills, how to save on groceries, how to save time, and how to budget for what's coming. Once you know what you need, you have power.
From there, I want to help you build a side hustle — even if it starts small, like Uber Eats or online surveys — with real, trustworthy ways to earn a bit extra. If you've already got a skill, say cleaning, I want to show you how to turn it into a business: how to market it, how to get insured, and how to put money aside for tax. I want to watch women get past this moment of overwhelm, and come out the other side.
